We are looking for a Team Lead UX/UI Design within the Online Customer Experience Team at Endress+Hauser in Reinach BL, Switzerland. You will act as an internal UX ambassador to drive understanding of what UX design is and how it impacts our customers. You have both strategic and operative responsibility and contribute to strategic decision making of user experience for endress.com.

Role + Responsibilities
  • You will manage, mentor, and empower a team of UX/UI designers
  • You bring a narrative of customer needs to cross-functional product teams
  • You will strengthen customer-centricity throughout the design and development process
  • You are a forward thinker and have the broader picture in mind and influence our digital strategy from UX perspective. At the same time, love working hands-on and enjoy day-to-day design jobs
  • You will incorporate Data Analysis and customer feedback through testing to validation of concepts and experience paradigm
  • You will contribute to the creation of outstanding experiences, incorporating best practices in UX and creating solid, engaging UX and UI patterns
  • You will work together with business, product, content, IT and analytics teams to ensure high business and UX impact
  • You will coach, inspire, push creativity, challenge established thinking, and identify best practices for user experience within your team and across the organization
  • You will execute together with your cross-functional team UX research, usability tests and drive prototyping efforts
  • You will ensure that the quality of implementation meets design requirements

Qualification + Profile
  • B.A in UX-related field (Human-computer interaction, Human factors, Communication Design, Product Design) or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong track record UX, UI and User Research
  • Experience in leading design teams in an agile environment
  • Extensive experience in designing and shipping for responsive web and mobile applications
  • Highly customer- and service orientated, ideally with experience in B2B and eCommerce
  • A portfolio demonstrating user-centered design approach, problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent stakeholder management and leadership communication skills
  • Experience working with Figma is a must
  • Experience building and maintaining a design system is an advantage
  • Understanding advantages of data driven decision making backed by UX research
  • Excellent visualization, written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent proficiency in spoken and written English, German knowledge is considered a plus
