The Visp site is looking for a Team Leader (f/m/d) (80 -100%) for quality unit support team (QUS-LIMS- Visp). As team leader of this group, you will be responsible for providing operational support for LIMS together with the team. This role includes application support and system administration.

You will closely interact with different departments (QC, logistic, QA, IT, OT).

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading of the LIMS team and ensuring smooth operation of daily tasks through the team
  • Ensuring correct administration and maintenance of the LIMS system
  • Supporting during external audits and inspections
  • Ensuring correct resource planning, daily planning of the activities, daily planning of tasks for support and troubleshooting
  • Being responsible for the training and personal development of the team
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor, or Master of Science or equivalent in the fields like Chemistry, Biochemistry, Applied Informatics, Computer Science, Bio-/Chemo-Informatics
  • Proven experience as Team Leader would be an advantage
  • Experience in the GMP environment as well as in quality control and / or IT is an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of LIMS (Thermo Fisher) is a requirement
  • Able to effectively influence and to implement changes, being flexible and adaptable to meet business needs and meeting timeliness in completing assigned tasks
  • Very good German communication skills (verbal and written) and English skills as an advantage
