At GF, we see our company as a forward-thinking leader in our field. Since 1802, we have been embracing innovations and sustainable solutions of the highest quality that add value to people’s lives around the globe.
The computer-aided engineering (CAE) department is part of the global GF Technology Center supporting various internal stakeholders and customers with simulation results suggesting solutions. Our CAE work covers three key areas such as for products (e.g. mechanical, flow, and condensation simulation), injection molding (e.g. mold filling, cooling/shrinkage phase, process parameter analysis), and installations design for complete piping systems (expansion/contraction, fix points, etc.). The team consists of four simulation engineers and several external service providers. In addition, the team executes pilot projects to implement modern data analysis methods (statistical, regressions, and AI), especially in production.
