Your role

Do you have a knack for analyzing complex business processes and designing proper IT solutions that
meet your clients’ needs? Are you thinking in a structured way and at the same time out of the box?
Then you might very well be the ideal candidate to support us in
  • identifying the business need with stakeholders and subject matter experts and contextualize them into a solution or program
  • documenting functional and non-functional requirements in an unambiguous way
  • analyzing the present system state and querying the underlying data
  • specifying the solution – in words, in diagrams, in examples – precisely and crystal-clear together with the developer in your scrum team
  • devising test cases for the solution, automate tests for regression and also testing it thoroughly
  • providing support to business users after Go Live
  • collaborating with a multitude of partners in a globally distributed environment

Your team

You’ll be working in the Finance Controlling Technology team in Zurich, involving in different business
and IT initiatives, working on solutions and execution in a simple, intuitive and flexible way. We are a
global team responsible for systems in Switzerland, Europe, the US and Asia.

Your expertise

  • strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills
  • insight in state of the art database technology, cloud technology and a profound knowledge of architectural approaches
  • hands on experience in SQL writing, data / process modelling for robust and future-proof applications
  • a track record of having successfully applied business analysis techniques
  • experience in Finance and Accounting
  • working in an agile environment will be an added advantage
  • interested in both the technology and the business aspects of IT applications
  • practiced in wording your findings in a way other people can easily understand
  • eager to learn all there is to know about one of the most advanced accounting systems in the world
  • flexible and able to work across teams and functions
  • be an excellent communicator and clearly convey all aspect of architecture (operating model, architecture principles, target architectures, standards and KPIs) to all relevant stakeholders
  • fluent in English
