Are you willing to play an active role within our worldwide UBS Cyber Defense environment?
Are you fascinated by designing, building and optimizing custom cyber detections using the latest technologies and security products?

We’re looking for such a person, a blue team expert, to:
  • design, develop, implement, and tune new rules aimed at detecting potential malicious activities and attacks, before they cause a negative impact
  • analyze identified malicious activity to determine weaknesses exploited, exploitation methods, effects on system and information
  • actively seek to improve and develop new content based upon observed security activity
  • work closely with our colleagues from Cyber Monitoring, Threat Response, Red team, CTI and Security Engineering to improve the security landscape of the bank
  • support Cyber Monitoring and Threat Response efforts to drive effective response and remediation
Description du profil

  • ideally 2 to 5 years of experience in information security, SOC, threat detection or in a comparable environment, with a focus in the security field
  • experience with the usual security stack (EDR, SIEM, SOAR)
  • experience with deployment of custom Cyber Security solutions including hands-on work (scripting and coding ideally in Python)
  • strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills when dealing with complex issues and the ability to take personal ownership and drive remediation
  • a team player, always professional while also keeping a casual setting
  • passionate in technical topics and how things work, curious, and like to take action and build things
  • willing to learn how Cyber Adversary operate and interested in reproducing specific attacks
  • security certification seen as a plus (Offensive Security, GIAC, CISSP, Comptia...)
  • fluent in English with the ability to describe complex concepts to different streams and stakeholders
