Technical Business Manager

Q Analysts is seeking a Technical Business Manager to manage our technical projects in Zurich. We support the top technology firms in the world with their Quality initiatives by providing managed services for device Quality Assurance & Testing as well as Data Collection for AI and ML. We are currently working with a key Client in Zurich and hope to expand that to others as well. Our Client’s team applies a range of software, computer vision and robotics techniques to build systems and tools that enable accurate quality evaluation and regression testing of tracking systems and algorithms.

Your primary responsibilities will focus on overseeing the client business relationship with our technical stakeholders and supporting our project delivery staff as a go to resources for issue resolution, mentoring and career partnership. You will communicate with our Client on prioritizing business issues, and support the team on meeting project deadlines, help with removal of blockers, and report project health status.

This role will serve as Q Analysts overall business engagement manager to our Client for the overall projects at our client sites. The role includes:

• Client Engagement. Regular connection on client driven requests for staffing, feedback on team’s performance and general business support
• Employee Management. People management, 1-1’s, career development, supporting daily work execution. Team size is currently 15 and comprises of a QA Team and a Data Collection/Engineering team.
• Project Oversight. Creating engagement plan, run dashboarding needs, report project updates weekly and monthly to US HQ team, perform Quarterly Business Reviews

Qualifications

• Proven experience handing business relationships in technical focused sales and marketing, sales support, technical support, engineering etc.
• Industry experience working with IoT product hardware and software design.
• Critical understanding of technical project management principles and taking a product from concept to delivery
• Program management skills working in agile environments
• Strong people management skills and expertise managing technology focused teams including mentoring and career development
• Strong communication skills across teams and organizations
• Must adapt quickly to technical jargon and new technologies
• An adaptable and flexible approach to fast moving teams on technical projects and multi-tasking

Preferred Skills

• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• Background in computer vision, motion capture systems or industrial robots
