As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It’s your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Our team’s mission is to build Google Assistant, making it more accessible and natural to interact with through human-like conversational capabilities, to which our users build a positive emotional connection. The team works on allowing our users to have unbounded open-ended conversations, natural interactions, and eventually scale that to the whole Google Assistant and multiple, personalized characters.

Responsibilities

• Work with a cross-functional team to solve interesting and challenging problems on user interaction and engagement, open-ended dialogs, safety, factuality, and transfer learning
• Work closely with RMI/Brain teams to train and advance outstanding Machine Learning models
• Lead Google Assistant Personality cross-functional Objective Key Results planning, project intake and prioritization, communication strategy, and capacity/allocation management
• Collaborate cross-functionally to analyze processes and identify opportunities for improvement that could be addressed via tooling or product solutions
• Drive and lead Engineering teams to identify, prioritize, and track tasks needed to complete project objectives
