As Technical Support Specialist Power Distribution Products, you will act as a lynchpin between sales, customer, product marketing and the various supply plants. You will support with technical questions regarding our products and solutions across the entire Smart Power portfolio - from safety relays to circuit breakers. This exciting and dynamic work environment requires a communicative person with a high level of customer orientation, networked thinking as well as a high level of personal responsibility, who can acquire new technical knowledge very quickly. Your responsibilities

• Technical support of the entire industrial portfolio from safety relays to circuit breakers
• Responsible for solving technical questions or problems of internal and external customers
• Advising customers with a view to a comprehensive technical solution and preparing quotations
• Assessment and approval of warranty requests including the corresponding administrative processing
• Ensuring the flow of information regarding know-how within the local team and towards suppliers
• Support of product marketing in subtasks or projects (in administrative or technical aspects)
• Ability to pass on acquired product know-how to internal and external experts
• Continuous participation in improvement processes

Your background

• Completed training as an electrician, electrical planner or automation engineer
• Further technical training, e.g. HF electrical engineering, is an advantage
• Experience in switchgear construction, electrotechnical environment etc. desirable
• Good language skills in German (fluent) and English (level B1). French or Italian would be an advantage
• Ability to act in a solution-oriented manner and to deal creatively with different approaches
• Strong analytical skills, a structured and methodical working style and the ability to drive projects forward in a fast-paced
• environment
• Strong customer orientation
• MS Office user
• SAP knowledge is an advantage
