As Technical Senior Sales Advisor for Pulses do you supervise the implementation of the technology standards of the segments’ product portfolio and you are in charge to develop specific concepts for new product applications. You are the main partner for the global sales and technology organization when seeking technological and sales advice for the products of the segment.

Tasks

  • Responsible for the development of the technology standards and secure that they are applied globally
  • Act as the central contact in Pulses topics and support the global sales organization in building trusting customer relationships by consulting them in technical, technological and business matters
  • Manage, coach, train and develop the local sales and service organizations for successful market and business development
  • Development of customer-specific quotation concepts and elaborate, control and approve the flowsheet with the lead technologists
  • Seizing sales opportunities and supporting in negotation the global sales organization
  • Drive innovation by identifying critical knowledge and technology gaps and leveraging internal/external expertise to address these gaps. Generating and assessing business ideas and initiating new business
  • Gather inputs from different technologists and new market needs for setting up and maintaing the process technology standards
  • Pro-active guiding and assisting in trials within Bühler’s global network of food application centers and with strategic technology partners

  • Required Qualifications

  • University degree in engineering or food technology
  • Braod technical knowledge in milling
  • Good negotiation skills, understanding of business administration aspects, and knowledge of contractual law
  • Confident negotiator in German and English
  • Highly customer-driven with competent appearance
  • Systematic and efficient problem-solving abilities
  • Business-minded, pro-active and creative personality who is very independet and has a high level of self motivation
  • Readiness to travel internationally (50% - 60%)
