Main Responsibilities

Demonstrate leadership by effectively managing a team of technical marketing specialists in Europe and setting and meeting specific departmental objectives and goals. Work closely with manufacturing technology and operations teams to ensure customer technical service and support. Prove safety obsession by ensuring that procedures are up-to-date and policies are well established and training are provided for safe handling of the product at our customers. Assess gaps in technical documentation and work closely with communication team to develop the right material. Partner with Marketing and Business development team to develop technical value proposition to the different addressed markets. Act as technical expert for different services: Legal, advocacy and product stewardship by sharing knowledge on the applications and the use of our products. Monitor and evaluate project progress and results to determine improvements needed to meet ultimate objectives. Consult with Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Communication to ensure adequate technical support.

Travel 20-40% of time to customers both direct and downstream in EMEA.

Requirements
  • Advanced degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (PhD or Master is a plus) with significant technology experience.
  • 10+ years working experience in a relevant area are supportive.
  • Languages: Fluent in English. Any other European language like French, German or Spanish is a plus.
  • Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software
  • Driving License for passenger cars and adequate driving experience.

Plus
  • Strong technical background in refrigerant-based applications. Background in Market, Product and Application development.
  • Experience with Development processes and good interaction with OEMs for RAC components (end-users/retailers, system OEMs, compressors, controls).
  • Has Business understanding on Patent/Regulatory issues (e.g. F Gas EU 517/ 2014, EN378, IEC60355).
