Your field of responsibility

In this role as Test Automation Engineer, you will design, build, test and deploy test automation solutions and execute automated tests at all test levels.
You will support the project in the various test automation issues, including test data provisioning. Consult with Test Managers, Application Developers and Business Analysts in the evaluation of their automation plans with ROI calculations and the analysis of the test execution results.
You will develop new automated framework solutions or maintain the current version/solution in a data-warehousing context with Big Data, Oracle, Informatica, UNIX, OBIEE and Qlik.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for an experienced test automation professional, to support our regulatory software deliveries by applying and improving on existing QA processes, in an Agile delivery environment.

You bring

  • 5 years of experience and an undergraduate IT qualification
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of automation of the test process and system development methods, including making recommendations of technology to be used to achieve an automation objective
  • Experience with the ’Application Lifecycle Management’ tool (also known as ’Quality Center’) and/or ’Octane’
  • Hands-on experience in automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, JMeter, Cucumber), structured and/or object oriented programming (e.g. Java, Python) and implementing BDD and TDD Frameworks
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and tools used to implement these (e.g. Team City and Jenkins)
  • Technical knowledge of writing SQL DML statements, UNIX file system commands, UNIX shell scripting and Big Data automated testing
