Your role

Have you successfully planned, organized and controlled all test activities? Do you have the know-how for achieving the defined test goals and implementing the testing? Do you want to be our test expert, making sure our application and technical environments meet the requirements?

We’re looking for Test Engineer to:

  • analyze and deeply understands the business requirements and questions them from a tester’s perspective
  • provide expertise and recommendations in assessing new software projects
  • be a team player and take initiative to support in enhancing quality of our existing applications
  • design, develop and maintain automated and manual test scripts
  • engage with colleagues at all levels with the aim to meet business requirements
  • have sound knowhow of Java code and Selenium Test Framework
  • clearly highlight test dependencies and risks to the stakeholders and pro-actively suggest mitigation measures
  • perform regression and release testing in managed environments
  • be accountable, responsible with sense of accuracy and attention to detail
  • ensure that proper processes & procedures are followed in the journey of code promotion from test to production environment

Your team

You’ll be working for SUBITOP team which is a part of Client Assisted Services agile crew. The Subitop application provides client advisor support in the advisory, sales and transaction processes. The core functionality of Subitop encompasses the opening of client accounts and other objects including document printing. As a Test Engineer you’ll play an important role in participating in risk assessment of the changes made to the software and closely and actively work with the developers and the business stakeholders.
The Client Assisted Services agile crew is a diverse team, who is very much looking forward to meet you and benefit from your skills, ideas and spirit.

Your expertise

  • 6+ years of professional experience working in a banking / finance sector
  • focused on quality of code delivered which is fit for purpose and production stability
  • previously held a testing role and experience in applying standards, methods, techniques, and templates
  • ability to work in agile framework and methodologies
  • experience with JIRA, Confluence, Incident Management Tool and GitLab is a big plus
  • test and ensure that code is reasonably bug free, stable, operational, consistent, and well-performing
  • leverage and drive testing solutions within the team and projects via test automation
