Job Description
  • Hybrid field and educational specialist management role focused in the German cardiology market
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as key therapy development manager for local specialists including territory planning & targeting, monitoring performance over time, and calibrating in field education and activities
  • Train therapy development representatives on education materials and messaging
  • Create and drive forward marketing campaigns and engage in content development to support disease awareness goals
  • Support local needs of the commercial and clinical teams in alignment with the marketing plan, including delivering field training and clinical marketing activities
  • Interact with office based cardiologists and local KOLs to identify opportunities for education and collaboration
  • Identify opportunities for greater digital engagement and education
  • Drive cross functional collaboration with comfort in presenting a business case to senior stakeholders
  • Serve as a thought partner for senior members of the organization for new opportunities to engage cardiologists
Education And Experience
  • Completed a masters degree in the natural sciences, medicine or pharmacy with clinical understand of heart failure and its associated therapies
  • At least 3 years of experience in a field education role in the pharmaceutical or medtech industry with preference for prior experience in cardiology including heart failure
  • Prior experience interacting with cardiologists, hospitals, and health insurers
  • Experience in on the field sales or education activities with preference for prior experience in cardiology
  • Prior experience in managing direct reports who are engaged in field education or sales preferred
Required Additional Skills
  • Willingness to spend 20% of their time travelling and engaging with cardiologists
  • Business fluency in written and verbal communication in German and English
  • High scientific and marketing-oriented curiosity, ability to set strategic directions
  • High degree of personal responsibility, proactivity, communication, negotiating skills
  • Ability to work and prioritize in tight timelines with a high degree of self-organization
  • Experience in the presentation of scientific content
  • Ability to contribute effectively and work in multifunctional teams
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
