CONTEXT & MISSION:

We are looking for a highly motivated Trade Marketing Project Leader for our L’OCCITANE Export Business Unit.

Your mission will be to inspire and coach our distributors to elevate the customer experience locally through 360 marketing initiatives, while ensuring the best execution in respect of L’OCCITANE’s vision & values. In addition, you will be responsible for key transversal projects.

You will be part of the Export Marketing Team and will report to the Head of Marketing Export & B2B.

You will work in close collaboration with the rest of the Export Team (including Retail Training & Sales Teams), a group of distributors as well as International Teams.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:

1) Operational & Trade Marketing (80%):

You will be the key Marketing point of contact for around 25 distributors based in Latin America & Europe, and your role will be to:

  • Adapt the Export Marketing strategy to the distributors that you are in charge of;
  • Define with the distributors their yearly Marketing and Media/Digital Media Plans;
  • For main launches, coach distributors to maximize all aspects of the 360, including Digital, Social Media, Influencers activations, Social Selling, PR and CRM while maintaining fundamental execution in the stores (merchandising & promotions, sampling);
  • Follow up of the Marketing budgets;
  • Digital acceleration: continuous follow up of the countries including:

- Coaching to maximize social media performance, engagement and conversion (IG focus);

- Ecommerce countries: track & analyze the ecommerce performance on a monthly basis & share recommendations with countries to increase traffic & results;

  • Social Selling: coach countries & follow-up with them on Social Selling methods. Identify with each main ones a Social Selling project for the year;
  • Compilation of campaign reports at regional level (LATAM and Europe) and share with Export & International Team;
  • Internal collaboration:

- Ensure constant collaboration between the different Export sites (Geneva & Miami) and with the Sales and Retail Training Teams;

- Define with the Sales & Retail Training Teams clear roadmap/objectives per country. Make sure that the projects are in line with these priorities.

- Analyze the monthly sell-out results with the Sales & Retail Training Teams and challenge the countries to work on corrective actions if needed.

  • Others tasks including:

- Logistics: follow-up of novelties order & work on implementation orders for new market openings;

- Merchandising: responsible for the store zoning and the merchandising excellence;

- Promotions: ensure that the promotions put in place by the distributors are in line with the L’OCCITANE Group Promotional Charter.

2) Transversal projects (20%):

You will have the lead within the Export Trade Marketing Team on a wide scope of transversal tasks, including:

  • Key point of contact for Customer Service & CSM teams;
  • Part of Export Social Selling Taskforce;
  • Export Annual Seminar key stakeholder.

HOW YOU CAN FIT:

  • 4+ years’ experience in Marketing / Digital / Social Media ideally in the cosmetic industry;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Spanish and/or French would be highly appreciated;
  • Comfortable with Agility;
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal & communication skills and the ability to convince and to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders;
  • High level of autonomy and will to take ownership;
  • Rigorous with strong organizational and planning skills;
  • Creative mindset and familiar with change management;
  • At ease in a changing and international fast-paced environment;
  • Willing to travel.

STARTING DATE: October 2021

11-MONTHS FIXED-TERM CONTRACT: October 2021 – August 2022
