On behalf of one of our clients, we are looking for the following profile:

Traffic Manager - Trading

Tasks

  • Responsible for executing and overseeing the lifecycle of orders from receipt to closure (sales and purchase contracts, shipping documentation, letters of credit, insurance declarations & claims)
  • Liaising with all points of the supply chain, including clients, surveyors, brokers, agents, banks etc. to maintain timely handling of execution of supply chain In charge of organizing transport (truck, rail and ocean), chartering vessels, containership management, and releasing material in warehouse
  • Daily involvement with transportation, warehousing, stock management, hedging, risk and cost efficiency. Follow up on creditors and debtors accounts, managing the premium valuation and database
  • Constant review and improvement of current procedures and tools available
  • Work closely with banks for arranging, negotiating and amending letters of credit on behalf of suppliers and customers
  • Act as a point of contact for suppliers and customers regarding the status of orders, invoicing, documentation, claim management etc.
  • Handling claims management issues and any risk management issues regarding logistics procedures
  • Providing support and assistance to the physical trading team and working in close collaboration with the middle and back offices to ensure smooth execution of the supply chain
  • Reports to team leader


Profile:

  • Strong experience in traffic operations focused on trading of base metals (aluminum, zinc, lead, copper, etc.)
  • Good understanding of all logistics documentation, including shipping terms, cargo insurance, Letters of Credit and Letters of Indemnity, as well as excellent understanding of Incoterms 2010
  • Experience and knowledge of global trading and shipping routes
  • Fluent in English
  • Italian, German, Serbian could be considered as a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of Word & Excel
