Traffic Operator / Junior Trader Steel

to support the Head Trading in all sales related activities and to further grow into a trading position.

For this postion it is evident that you bring 2-3 yrs. of operations/traffic experience in the steel industry. You hold the right versatile & flexible mindset, working independently. In the beginning you will administrate and execute trade orders processing them from A to Z, with a specific focus on logistics coordination & supervision, amongst others task: contract management, letter of credit processing, transportation processing (sea/land) as well as deadline monitoring and, together with your supervisor, it will be your duty to serve our international counterparties. Later, you will enter trading department to further support the sales team and to grow into a trading position.

You have completed a commercial/trade diploma/degree or equivalent education, have some years of professional experience (2-3 years) in international steel commodity trading environment, fluency both in English and preferably German.

Furthermore, we require good knowledge of L/C business terms, sea-freight + logistics and INCO terms as well as MS Office and merchandise management programs.

In addition, you are motivated, able to work under pressure, communicative and accustomed to working very precisely and quickly.
