Traffic Operator Metal/Concs (E/Ru)

Job Description
  • Support and manage all operational aspects in close coordination with Head of Operations and Team
  • Processing documentation and complying with all requirements as listed under letters of credit and transport documentation and all aspects of executing commodity transactions.
  • Executing contracts including preparation of documentary instructions
  • External contracts include banks, freight agents and 3rd party commodity receivers
  • Contact person for clients in terms of logistic matters
  • Coordinating operations with the local logistics companies, following up daily warehouse transfer reports, stock controls and independent inspections
  • Managing transportation from ports and warehouse.
  • Replying to overseas inquires in a clear, concise and timely manner.
  • Supervising loading and discharging of cargoes.
  • Arranging inspection services.
  • Managing all documentary presentations.
  • Support the price hedging activities related to ongoing transactions
  • Support the operational processes related to ongoing trade finance processes (negotiation of Letters of Credit, Documentary collection, etc.)
  • some years related experience in commodity trading in metal or metal concentrates
  • Fluency in English and Russian
  • Familiar with letters of credit and international transport documentation
  • Good knowledge of and experience in MS Office, Outlook, Internet
  • Exceptional organizational skills are required
  • Ability to prioritize and to handle various transactions at the same time
  • Self-conscious and reliable
  • Good team player, dedicated and flexible
  • Willing to assist in setting up procedures
  • Communication skills
