Job Summary


Swissport Transformation team are supporting the successful delivery of its CORE Transformation program. This programme will enable the company to come out strong out of the covid crisis, strengthen our customer-centricity, deliver consistent operational excellence across geographies and manage costs in effective manner.


Working with the Transformation Office and the Business sponsors, the Transformation Lead will be a part of the delivery of this complex cross-business programme, in an interdisciplinary environment and high levels of senior exposure. In this role you will primarily provide support and challenge to the project sponsors and global work stream delivery team.


Job Responsibilities


  • Working with the Work Stream sponsors and teams, support delivery of the transformation commitments across geographies
  • Build strong relationships with P&L and functional owners to identify, quantify and risk-assess work stream improvement initiatives
  • Help identify root causes of current inefficiencies, and in collaboration with organisation and delivery teams, develop options and select sustainable systemic improvements
  • Quantify financial and operational outcomes of the work stream, and set target KPIs
  • Build work stream delivery plans and work with the global organisation to oversee implementation of the improvements across Swissport locations against these plans
  • Identify and manage cross-business workstream dependencies by collaborating with other key workstream leads and Transformation Office team
  • Develop clear business cases for any Transformation-related investments, focused on clear statement of benefits
  • Implement consistent Transformation Office governance within the workstream, provide transparency of results, risks, and progress status
  • Work with Finance to develop strong financial planning and effective linkage between work stream delivery and P&L and cash

Qualifications and Competencies


  • University degree in business administration, finance, economics, engineering or related field of study
  • Minimum 10 years of total work experience, and min. 5 years of project experience in an international and global environment
  • Experience in identifying and implementing operational improvements in a multi-location, blue collar environment
  • Experience in working in Private Equity environment and proven ability to deliver results at pace under stress and resolve significant level of ambiguity
  • Good understanding of financials (P&L, Cashflow) and financial management of projects, budgeting, actuals tracking and reporting
  • Strong analytical skills, understanding of data management
  • Team focused working style that fits into a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive, professional, internal and external work relationships with stakeholders at different levels of management
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills, excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Professional level knowledge of Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Fluent written and verbal command of English as the corporate language, any other language is a plus
