We are looking for a Translation Project Manager to join our global team in Switzerland!


As a Translation Project Manager you will manage translation projects from start to finish and ensure their successful completion, according to customer requirements and Acolad standards.



Responsibilities:


  • Process execution throughout the whole project life-cycle, including initiation, planning, execution, control and closing
  • Monitoring of overall workflow timelines including service delivery (translation, revision, DTP, etc.)
  • Managing the financial aspectsof the projects, including revenue, gross margin and invoicing
  • Maintaining client relationships as first point of contact at operational level
  • Representingthe organisation to our customers
  • Guaranteeing customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years experience in service/project management within localisation
  • Language skills: excellent knowledge of English and German required, other languages are a plus
  • Great organisational skills
  • Experience managing multiple multilingual projectssimultaneously working on verytight deadlines
  • Used to working under pressure
  • Ability to deal with difficult situations, conflicts and complaints
  • Greatcommunication skills (email, phone, presentations)
  • Familiar with CAT tools (e.g. SDL TRADOS STUDIO)
  • Good knowledge of commonly used computer desktop applications and services (e.g. MS Office, production applications, Adobe Acrobat, etc.)
