A dispatch and transport coordinator is primarily in charge of dispatching and tracking vehicles that provide different services and oversee transportation logistics and ensure services are delivered on time and according to regulations.

• Maintain accurate files on vehicle use, condition, and maintenance
• Ensure efficient delivery schedules
• Implement an inspection program to safeguard the equipment and a maintenance program to keep equipment in effective operating condition
• Recommend the appropriate specifications for new equipment
• Provide a level of delivery service that meets or exceeds customer expectations
• Direct the operations of the drivers to achieve prescribed objectives
• Develop and maintain a productive work team by training and professional development
• Implementing a driver safety program
• Establishing and manteining deliveries reporting procedure and process the delivery reports from all drivers and shipments
• Assure the timely creation and filing of Department of Transportation reports
• Conduct and manage clearance operations to control carrier deliveries, determine shipping configurations, loading requirements, and loading/offloading
• Receive emergency calls.Dispatch fire, ems and security department to the emergency.
• Monitor and report various GPS routes, road and weather conditions.
• Keep track of all drivers on the road and delivery times and departure times through GPS tracking.
• Assist medical/nursing personnel during emergency situations as directed.
• Dispatch drivers to customer pickup and delivery locations while assisting supervisors in the office with filing and computer operations.
• Support technicians by providing the status, dispatch service providers to customers, and track parts availability on Internet
• Conduct monthly driver meetings on a variety of topics including safety, standard operating procedures, customer service and company regulations.
• Contribute significantly to a reduce number of quality checks make by technicians by suggesting and implementing standard operating procedures
• Conduct and manage loading/offloading capabilities.
• Planning monthly drivers roster
• Knowledge HACCP policies and rules

• C driving License
• Proven work experience as similar role
• Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
• Excellent communication skills
