TRAVEL COORDINATOR

EF Pro Cycling Team

The Role

As a Travel Coordinator for EF Education - you will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic operations department working in Amadeus and Sabre GDS to help arrange travel for the team. You will be responsible for delivering high quality, efficient and cost-conscious flight solutions, as well as helping facilitate the use of our internal online booking system. You will also work closely with the Operation Manager and will assist in operational tasks using different platforms such as Cycling Administration System, Microsoft Teams and more. This position requires high levels of customer service, primarily via email, with staff and athletes and a strong skill in problem-solving under pressure.

Terms of appointment

Successful candidates will be appointed on a 50% permanent contract, in which the working days will vary, based on agreement. Candidates must be available for on-call emergency support outside of office hours every second weekend during peak season. Starting date for the position is as soon as possible.

Responsibilities
  • Provide consultancy services for flight reservations and ticketing through Amadeus and Sabre GDS.
  • Provide travel solutions beyond flights to ensure an end-to-end solution for athletes and staff.
  • Provide timely and efficient support to the athletes and staff.
  • Find creative solutions for challenging gateways, time constraints and specific requests and/or preferences.
  • Available for on-call emergency support outside of office hours
  • Available to travel to the Spain office on a frequent basis

Requirements
  • Previous experience working or studying in an international environment is preferred.
  • Relevant experience in airline industry and/or GDS experience is an advantage.
  • Minimum level of C1 level of English is a requirement.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication in Spanish is an advantage.
  • To be considered for this role, applicants must either be Swiss citizens, EU-nationals or have the legal right to live and work in Switzerland.
