We are seeking a motivated self starter to join eBay Treasury International team, located in Bern, Switzerland. As an integral part of the team, you will support all aspects of EMEA and APAC Cash Management operations, ensuring sufficient liquidity for daily working capital requirements as well as longer-term growth initiatives. Attention to detail and a deep passion to learn will be keys to your success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run daily cash position and short-term cashflow forecast models for EMEA & APAC subsidiaries and the Treasury Center.
  • Evaluate and execute short term deposits.
  • Execute cash transfers including intercompany, netting and funding requests; and work directly with bank personnel troubleshoot issues.
  • Ensure timely execution of Treasury settlements such as FX, Money Market and deposits.
  • Review monthly bank fees for accuracy and investigate on discrepancies.
  • Support affiliated companies and corporate departments with cash management controls, daily treasury, and banking related needs.
  • Prepare periodic reports on Cash visibility, Interest revenue and counterparty risk exposures.
  • Collaborate with the Managed Payments organization on initiatives involving banking services and liquidity needs.
  • Monitor intercompany loans and deposits portfolio, including positions resulting from the cash concentration structure.
  • Oversee bank account documentation for opening/closing bank accounts, tracking, updating bank signatories, online administration, and KYC requirements.
  • Assist in the implementation, streamlining and documentation of treasury operations processes and procedures.
  • Ensure cash management operations comply with policies, procedures and control environment, including SOX and external audit.
  • Act as point of contact for system initiatives involving Quantum (Treasury Management System), SAP, and other treasury software.
Minimum Requirements
  • 3-5 years of work experience in treasury, finance, or accounting.
  • Bachelor’s degree (finance, accounting or economics preferred)
  • Fluent in English.
  • Previous experience with Treasury Management systems, preferable Quantum.
  • Strong analytical skills and proven record of data analysis using advanced tools (i.e. SAP, Power BI, Tableau, SQL queries and Advanced Microsoft Excel)
  • Well-organized ability to prioritize, multi-task in a dynamic environment with colleagues in multiple time zones
  • Strong interpersonal skills, team player and able to work collaboratively with people from diverse backgrounds.
