In addition, Novelis is leading the industry with its sustainability and recycling efforts.Become Part Of Our Mission To Create a Sustainable World And Start In Our European Headquarter In Küsnacht, Zürich (Switzerland) AsTreasury Analyst (m/f/d) - initially limited to 1 yearResponsibilities & QualificationsThe European Treasury team is responsible for day-to-day cash management operations to ensure adequate working capital liquidity for Novelis Europe within the guidelines of corporate treasury policies.The Treasury Analyst helps contribute to the execution of day-to-day and project-oriented Treasury transactions. Key metrics are accuracy, integrity and speed. Balancing priorities in this high-paced and global work environment, as well as maintaining compliance with external fiscal and civil regulations, as well as internal policies, is integral to succeed in this position.What Awaits You
  • Perform daily cash management activities to ensure accurate, timely cash position using the Treasury workstation IT2, and maintenance internal controls, payment preparation and approval process
  • Support in metal settlement process, including communication with all counterparties
  • Timely reconciliation between bank balances and SAP balances as well as post to the G/L
  • First point-of-contact for external (banks, auditors, etc.) and internal counterparties for all Treasury-related settlements
  • Support working capital and other Treasury initiatives (f.e. receivables financing programs) and process improvements in several areas
  • Support corporate finance and cash flow forecasting activities
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of In-House bank accounts and Inter-Company loan balances
  • Manage netting of Novelis Europe Inter-Company transactions via In-House Bank accounts
How You Convince Us
  • You hold a university degree with a focus on finance
  • At least 1 year experience in Treasury and/or Finance
  • Knowledge of common MS Office applications, SAP experience is a plus
  • Excellent English and German written and spoken communication skills
  • You are result oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • You are a strong team player, and you have the ability to work in an international environment
