We are looking for a Unicorn & Filtration Field Application Specialist to be part of our expert Customer Applications Support Team of 9 employees across EMEA. Do you have a passion for supporting our customers? Then we would love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do
  • Actively support the sales process by advising in sales discussions, giving presentations and hands-on demonstrations for filtration and chromatography systems like UniFlux, ÄKTAreadyflux, ÄKTA flux, ÄKTAprocess, ÄKTAready, ÄKTApilot. Interface closely with the local Account Managers and with the European Fast Trak Team and BioProcess Support
  • Perform advanced post-installation hands-on training and consulting for customers; deliver high level hands-on application support to tangential flow filtration and chromatography customers; provide expert technical support for users, e.g., troubleshooting, including on-site process-connected problem solving.
  • Deliver input to Business Area (Marketing and R&D) and Management, with particular focus on customer comments, market info and competitor practices; develop and present ideas for improvements and new solutions - technical developments and demands, market and regulatory requirements, new processes and unit operations; provide industrially focused filtration and chromatography training of our portfolio for Cytiva personnel, as requested
  • Work with CBS engineering, particularly for automation, to support customers, provide solutions (networking, etc.). Participate in and support global Fast Trak initiatives in education, consulting and technical support; prepare, execute and wrap up Standard and Custom Fast Trak courses, lecturing and hands-on lab work/teaching required; contribute to updating and development of new courses, practical exercises and course materials
Who You Are
  • Educated in Life Sciences with University level, MSc or equivalent; with at least 3 years’ experience in Downstream processing in an industrial environment or 4 years as Downstream Application Specialist
  • Experienced in software handling and downstream processing, knowledgeable in filtration, chromatography, UNICORN and GMP
  • The following skills would be of great value: Hands-on knowledge of Cytiva’s Downstream product range (Filtration-, BioProcess- and ÄKTA- systems); additional experience in Lactoferrin processes is appreciated.
  • Goal oriented, creative, flexible, and well organized
  • Team player with ability to work in multi-cultural environment
  • Effective in communication and presentation skills; fluent in English and at least one other European language
  • Must be prepared to travel up to 80% of the time, mainly in Europe.
