In Switzerland, Estée Lauder has the main Supply Chain Hub for Travel Retail and EMEA.
Due to a replacement, we are now hiring a VAS Administration Specialist for our Logistics Team, part of our Travel Retail Organization, based in Lachen, Switzerland.

Value Added Services (VAS) are an essential part of our growing successful Travel Retail business worldwide. The VAS Administration Specialist is responsible to facilitate efficient and smooth execution of all VAS-related customer requirements including product labeling, language labeling, coding, and late-stage printing.

Your main responsibilities include:

Master Data & Inventory Management:

  • Responsible for the creation of labels in SAP, manage storage location set up in LM7 (our warehouse management system)
  • Taking care of the late-stage differentiation and rework set up in SAP and LM7
  • Creating and maintaining master data (condition records) including the documentation of work instructions
  • Manage the inventory of language labels and VAS AUX materials and ensure timely coordination and/or ordering in line with business requirements
  • Execute label inventory counts

Analytical Reporting:

  • Responsible for daily KPI reporting related to VAS and VAS operations impact, support workload planning, and provide timely accurate VAS related statistics
  • Responsible for the coordination of label requirements, define decisions on in-house vs outsourced printing, and trigger timely inhouse printing
  • Support standardization and continuous improvement projects

Support related to other VAS activities:

  • Support actively the technical and operational set-ups for label printing
  • Responsible to organize Reworks in close collaboration with Quality Assurance
  • Documentations of process descriptions and manuals
  • Act as a deputy of the VAS administration team and support other team members in case of absence


Qualifications


What we expect from you:

  • Apprenticeship in Business Management or similar or bachelor’s in economics
  • Three years of experience in the logistics sector
  • Knowledge of the logistics requirements within an FMCG environment
  • Strong analytical skillset, big passion for number crunching, and the ability to read patterns
  • Ability to communicate at all eye levels from logistic workers to management
  • Independent work ethic who can deliver high quality in a fast-changing environment
  • Very driven and dynamic personality who thinks out of the box
  • Fluent German and good English skills (written and oral)
  • Very good knowledge of the MS Office package (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of SAP, Reporting Tool (Business Objects), and LM7 (the Warehouse Management System) are advantageous
