What You Can ExpectDuring the roll, you’ll learn how to identify and apply important strategies and business processes. You’ll get to know the nuts and bolts of our Units functions and operations. You’ll support the team and have project based responsibilities in topics such as scouting mobility start-ups and supporting our portfolio ventures by working with the founders.Your duties & responsibilities

• Understand the overall strategy of Baloise and translate that into daily work and goals
• Identify mobility trends that fit our thesis and validate them with our mobility partners
• Perform research-driven sector analysis in the mobility space
• Support both inbound and outbound start-up deal sourcing, leveraging our network and market intelligence for new investment opportunities
• Conduct market and product research to develop investment insights and hypotheses
• Plan, organize and coordinate our Mobility events, accelerator programs, etc.
• Help us in evaluating performance of the portfolio and individual start-ups (e.g. writing reports, analysing data)

What We ExpectThat you are interested in the field of mobility. Our goal is to expand Baloise’s business areas - insurance and banking. We want to combine mobility solutions in an ecosystem in order to offer more services to our customers from a single source.We Expect

• Passion for mobility and have experience working with start-ups, and in venture investing,
• You are highly motivated to understand the ingredients of new digital ideas and business models in a team, focusing on unit economics and monetization potential.
• You like to take responsibility, are passionate about your work, and can quickly adapt to new situations and contexts.
• You have a high degree of integrity, intellectual curiosity and team-orientation
• You thrive in and actively seek out diverse and dynamic environments
• Strong verbal and written presentation skills
• Working proficiency in English is a must
