THE ROLE

We are currently looking for a Voyage Financial Analystto join the Finance department. This position is responsible for the process, calculation and consolidation of the financial results for specific trades.

YOUR IMPACT

As a Voyage Financial Analyst, you wil :

• Analyze and increase the reliability of financial information to make trade results as transparent as possible.
• Review and update different parameters to process voyage calculations of each vessel on a trade line through the MSC Voyage Calculation Software.
• Control and ensure appropriate revenues and respective cost allocation to calculate the financial results of a defined voyage.
• Prepare a report by service twice a month that will be for the Senior Management and liner department explaining results. Ensure these trade results are accurate and understandable to make room for the optimization of the Management’s decision making.
• Analyze variances using the implementation of analytical reporting tools.
• Other tasks : data reconciliation versus accounting, participation in tools improvement with IT department.

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Qualifications in Finance or Business Management
• Finance or commercial background
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position
• Advanced Excel level
• Strong analytical skills
• Committed to a high level of work accuracy and precision
• Ability to drive change
• Able to work in a team environment
• Open minded and flexible
• Perfect command of both written and spoken English and French
