Our Team

The International Private Bank (IPB) Treasury team is responsible for managing the liquidity, interest rate risk and capital positions of private bank activities booked on balance sheet (mainly loans and deposits) across EMEA, Asia and Latin America in accordance with internal and regulatory requirements.

Role

As a Wealth Management Treasury Analyst, you will be a key member of the IPB Treasury team focusing on one of our main EMEA legal entities headquartered in Geneva, JP Morgan Suisse SA.

Working closely with other members of the team, the role comprises the following key responsibilities:


  • Primary point of contact for all daily Treasury activities of the legal entity: This includes overseeing daily loan & deposit bookings and rates management from a Treasury perspective as well as managing FX exposures that arise due to WM activity in the legal entity. Moreover, you will be involved in initiatives to continuously improve the daily processes.
  • Provide support to senior member of the team on JPM Suisse Treasury related reporting and analytics tasks mainly focusing on liquidity, interest rate risk and capital: You will contribute to regulatory and internal reports/submissions such as balance sheet forecasts, LCR, NSFR, and ICAAP/ILAAP. Moreover, the support will include liquidity risk as a focus topic of the team in Geneva for all IPB or initiatives and ad-hoc requests for which Treasury/Asset Liability Management (ALM) knowledge is required (e.g. introduction of new products).
  • Provide support to the IPB Treasurer to help run the practice: The task covers various topics such as practice-specific reporting or the organization of the practice itself and therefore offers the opportunity to develop your personal and professional skills as well as broaden your knowledge of Asset Liability Management

In your new role, you will also interact with various partners globally, including corporate treasury, product finance, front office, technology and operations which offers an excellent opportunity to deepen your banking knowledge.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or similar areas
  • Relevant working experience in the financial services industry is a plus
  • Prior experience in Treasury/Asset Liability Management (ALM) is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent aptitude for numbers
  • Problem solving skills to understand and resolve issues
  • Proactivity and willingness to challenge and improve current processes
  • Strong partnership and communication skills
  • Able to excel in a global, fast paced and intellectually demanding environment
  • Strong teamwork ethic
  • Technical skills include a strong command of MS Office applications in particular MS Excel, familiarity with Bloomberg, MS SQL and proficiency in Python is a plus
  • Fluency in English is essential
