The successful candidate will work to support solutions, assist with the implementation of application capabilities, web site systems and on general software maintenance and regular software upgrades. You will be part of our website support team and help coordinate development, manage the deployment lifecycle (hands-on) and support the applications generally. The scope also includes various other applications for our Tax department.

Delivering value to our stakeholders requires us to:

  • Taking ownership of technical support issues and seeing them through to resolution (Jira, Confluence)
  • Working with product manager, site administrators and business users to identify issues and elicit supporting information as needed
  • Working with both QA and vendor technical support teams to reproduce the issue and resolve it
  • Communicating with users or the product team throughout the process
  • Documenting system architecture and tools

The ideal candidate will have experience with the following technologies:

  • Web application support (Tomcat / PostgreSQL / Linux)
  • Scripting (Linux, PostgreSQL, PL/SQL, MS SQL)
  • Integration technologies (REST)
  • Web technologies support (JavaScript, Vue, CSS, HTML)
  • CD/CI (Jenkins and Git based)
  • General Windows / Operating System
  • Docker, Kubernetes and related technologies (nice to have, but no must)

The minimum requirements are:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in delivering software solutions, consulting or supporting the related technologies as listed within this job description
  • A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology (or equivalent)
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a global team
