The Role

The Logitech Gaming Team is growing! Our team is focused on creating great gaming experiences with innovation and performance at the core of our products’ design. We are looking for a Windows Audio Driver Senior Developer. The role focuses on gaming audio devices (headsets, mics, speakers…), with possible contributions on other device types (mices, keyboards…) and product lines. In this position you will use, share and grow your skills to make gamers enjoy their gears and be their best!

Your contribution

  • Work with our current audio experts, as well as firmware engineers, product managers and designers.

  • Bring your knowledge and experience on Microsoft Windows Driver Model to build and enhance Windows audio drivers for Logitech G product line.

  • Be the local reference for audio related work under the Windows platform, with a comprehensive knowledge of Audio Processing Objects.

  • Participate in the full software stack, starting from low-level device interaction to the customer-facing UI, and everything in between.

  • Mentor junior developers, review code from your peers, and help the team grow their skills.

Key Qualifications

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, passionate about building great software products, and has an intrinsic curiosity to understand technological tools and frameworks. To strive in this role you shall:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimumskills and behaviors to our team:

  • 5+ years of software design & development experience

  • Expertise in Windows driver development and audio stack with relevant work experience

  • Experience with delivering a consumer software product

  • C/C++ expertise - including C++17

  • Applied knowledge of software design patterns and best-practices

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:

  • Knowledge in Objective C, Python, React and NodeJS

  • Expertise with software linked to hardware products other than audio

  • Knowledge of MacOS audio stack and drivers

Education

  • Bachelor or Master degree in computer science or equivalent.
