Your field of responsibility

You will be running a large Windows and ESX Server infrastructure. To automate processes, you will engineer solutions to improve efficiency using PowerShell scripting. You will also be responsible for the Level 2 and Level 3 support of the entire infrastructure as part of a Swiss based team. One week per month on call readiness is expected.

Your skills and experience

The following skills are required in order to meet the high requirements

  • Completed apprenticeship in Information Technology or adequate education
  • Programming and coding - scripting languages (e.g. vbs / PowerShell)
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a Windows Server & vSphere Operator/Engineer within larger enterprise IT environments
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize a wide range of workloads with critical deadlines;
  • Fluency in English, German knowledge is an additional advantage
