EY Switzerland China Desk offers Chinese and Swiss clients a unique platform that serves as a clear differentiator from competitors by combining and coordinating industry and country desk knowhow, creating a proactive business development approach with a standardized operating model adjusted to local needs and specifications.

Our China Desk in the Zurich office particularly focuses on our China and Swiss clients with businesses in Switzerland or China. We practice a pro-active approach, understand the business culture and expectations of the foreign headquarters in both countries, and are embedded in local activities, market segments and service lines. Furthermore, we are in close contact with the global EY account teams as well as the global EY China Overseas Investment Network (COIN) and can bring input from global trends and best practices back to the local activities.

Your key responsibilities

• 
  You support the team in keeping up with business development activities of various clients and stakeholder both at national and international level
• You help market our services both internally and externally and are involved in organizing client events, communication material and marketing campaigns
• You support in drafting and writing marketing publications
• You help to map out potential opportunities for various clients

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role you must have

• 
  You are at the beginning or in the middle of your studies (Bachelor or Master)
• Strong interest in the field of international investment, cross border transactions
• A minimum of Mandarin language skills is required and strong verbal and written English skills is essential. Good command of German is a plus.
• You demonstrate a good command of Microsoft office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• You are able to efficiently organize your workload to meet deadlines and have strong organizational skills in order to deliver tasks
• You are enthusiastic, confident and display outstanding communication skills - i.e. you are able to interact efficiently with colleagues and clients at all levels and from different backgrounds
• You are a good team player and appreciate working in teams in a highly dynamic and international environment
• You are ambitious, curious, self-motivated and have a positive and proactive approach to work
• You have a strong desire to be part of the EY international network
