Helpr is a care service platform that supports families in finding excellent full and part time primary and emergency (or backup) childcare providers, full and part time adult care providers/caregivers, and birth workers including doulas and Newborn Care Specialists.

*Please note - candidates will be hired by, work for, and paid directly by the hiring family*

We’re currently looking for a backup babysitter/nanny in Zurich.

A lovely family in Zurich is looking for backup care for their 6 year old daughter. They need help occasionally when their regular nanny is unavailable for typical care (Wednesdays from 1:45pm - 6:30pm, occasionally as late as 10:30pm if mom and dad have a late meeting, etc), school closures, sick days, date nights, etc.

• Schedule: As needed, family will provide as much notice as possible *no guaranteed hours*
• Start date: ASAP
• Ongoing position
• 1 child - 6 years old
• 25-35 Swiss francs per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsibilities will depend upon day care is provided but may include:
• School pickup (family will pay transportation costs)
• Transportation to afterschool activities
• Homework reminders (no help needed, but keep her on track to get it done)
• Meals and snacks as applicable
• Bedtime routine

REQUIREMENTS:

• Authorized to work in Switzerland
• 2+ years of paid, professional childcare experience
• CPR certified or willing to become certified
• Fully COVID vaccinated
• Must be comfortable with the family’s pet cats

Compensation:Position pays 25-35 Swiss francs per hour and the family is looking for backup care on an ongoing basis *no guaranteed hours*
