    • BCM (Banking and Capital Markets) is the Financial Services arm of Luxoft working for: Capital Markets, Retail Banking, Wealth Management, Asset Management and Payments industries. BCM delivers Bespoke Technology and Engineering, Consulting, Vendor Package Integration, IP Software Solutions and Enterprise Technology Solutions.

    Responsibilities
      Working as a senior technology consultant, supporting consulting presales activity and advising our Capital Markets clients on technical solutions:
    • Lead pre-sales activities and support sales team with deal development
    • Respond to RFPs and provide technical support to RFP/bid teams and act as technical architect or solution architect as required
    • Architect, design and develop solutions to client problems. Leveraging existing solutions where appropriate. Must have wide knowledge of available technology and its uses (likely to have certifications in cloud)
    • Support post-sales process help standup delivery teams for new accounts and projects, formalize delivery/SDLC frameworks and core KPIs; in conjunction with their engineering team
    • Interact with C/DE-level of client population
    • Provide advisory in technology space across major engineering practices, represent Luxoft capabilities in the space to clients and leads
    • Undertake small advisory based engagements or client PoCs.
    • Build and promote service offerings
    • Thought leadership; Keeps abreast of technical advancements in their area of specialisation and helps engineers broaden their skillset; contributes to Lab technical direction.
    • Mentors development team to support R&D and continuous learning and innovation.
    • Runs and evangelises a community of practice/guild.

    Skills

    Must have

    - 10-15 Years Of Technical Experience

  • Engineering background with extensive hands-on engineering experience; demonstrated technical experience in cloud
  • Experience with Banking and Capital Markets industries
  • Understands the modern technology stack and is able to translate client requirements into technical solutions
  • Expert-level presentation, customer service, financial/business acumen, and negotiation skills at all levels of customer engagement
  • Experience managing delivery of complex programs ($5M+) in Capital Markets, representing the vendor
  • Experience designing and engineering complex IT systems in enterprise environment (500 KLOC+)
  • Experience in presales, sales engineering, or supporting implementations of enterprise software solutions; including: experience negotiating account/program-level commercial deals
  • Fluent navigation of technology, especially: high load and low latency distributed systems, microservices and SOA, cloud computing, fluent EIP, data science and data management, security
    • Nice to have
      - Java and core frameworks (spring, commons), or .NET family of programming languages/frameworks
    • Hands-on with rapid prototyping and resident engineering tools (Jupyter, Zeppelin, Google colab)
    • Hands-on with 1-2 major cloud providers
    • Hands-on assessing architecture, design, quality, complexity and maturity of large IT systems
    • Hands-on with technology specifics of Capital Markets-focused applications (protocols, integrations, commonly adopted systems and industry-specific EIP, data models, formats, vocabulary)
    • Understand technology trends of major Banking and Capital Markets-based clusters: IB/retail, online banking, wealth management, risks and compliance, regulatory, market connectivity and market data, etc.
