Bids & Tenders Representative, Switzerland (m/f/x)

We are currently looking to recruit a Bids & Tenders Representative. This is an office-based role in Zug with the possibility to work from home as well. Reporting to the Bids and Tenders Supervisor, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following.

The 100% position holds responsibility for handling tender/procurement- and contract activities together with Sales & Marketing in order to meet targets and fulfill demands in the market.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Manage day to day tasks in the Bids & Tenders department

  • Local process work with Tender management and Contract management. This includes adhering to and working in accordance with all related work instructions within the scope of responsibility (e.g., writing and monitoring price confirmations, offers, upload and correct conditions, prepare analysis, master data management etc.).

  • Proactive tender management coordination in all phases of the Procurement and Contract lifetime

  • Maintain close cooperation with all stakeholders both internal and external

  • Manage and develop the tender management process, look to make continuous improvements to the process

  • Ensure best bid creation where customers (internal and external) questions are answered, and the organization has the best possible chance of success

  • Have an excellent appreciation of what the customer needs

  • Use all valid B&T tools to secure Compliance and Control within the country

  • Secure a strong network with Country Sales & Marketing Management for our Medical Solutions and Cordis (Endo- and Cardiovascular) businesses

  • Monitor contracts, track & analyze sales data

  • Follow and adhere to all rules and regulations (internal as well as external) within the department responsibility.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Commercial business certificate or equivalent completed training (with good knowledge of business relations), at least 2-3 years professional experience

  • Fluency in both German and English is required; French and Italian are considered a plus

  • Experience in a fast-paced organization with a quick and pragmatic decisions approach

  • Good Experience in Pricing within the B&T area

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Analytic thinking and flair for figures

  • Excellent knowledge of different business systems

  • Extensive skills in MS Office programs (esp. Excel)

  • Ability to think out of the box and propose innovative solutions / approaches

  • Quick comprehension, structured and high degree of readiness to learn and perform

  • Flexible, motivated and open team player (also open for new business tasks)

  • Time management, efficiency, the ability to meet deadlines work with minimal supervision
