Your assignment
  • Lead the group-wide Total Cost of Ownership Improvement Program. Define and maintain uniform savings measurement principles and control reported impact
  • Responsible for reaching the ambition levels. Regularly follow-up with Business Unit, keep track on group-wide progress and identify where Group Procurement may support in reaching targets.
  • Coordinate procurement operating model transitions, provide and maintain spend transparency and analytics by implementing and maintaining a spend cube to contain all external spend. Provide and maintain a spend hierarchy (also called taxonomy) that will be applied for all spend.
  • Develop a digital Roadmap for Procurement (together with Business Units and Corporate IT)
  • Coordinate documentation of best practices and develop a competence building capability (such as e-learning tools, class room training, other training methods)
  • Management of procurement staff
Your background
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or comparable qualification; project management certification is a plus.
  • At least 10-15 years’ experience in procurement and strategic sourcing and 5 years’ experience in a senior procurement excellence role in an international environment. Excellent knowledge in procurement, supply chain and finance processes. Solid experience in project management and good knowledge of Lean and/or 6Sigma principles.
  • Strong leadership, organizational and change management skills. Efficient, proactive and creative working methodology. Analytically strong and able to prioritize under pressure and manage multiple projects.
  • Self-driven, diligent, solution oriented and highly resilient when facing hurdles.
  • Strong communicator with a convincing personality, team orientation, stakeholder management competence and intercultural experience.
  • High willingness to travel.
