Are you a passionate data warehouse expert and would you like to apply your experience to software development?

For our customer, a well known insurance company in central Switzerland, we are looking for a DWH / Java Developer for a permanent position.

Daily Business
  • Collaboration in the further development of our data warehouse based on Wherescape
  • Support of the Java framework in the context of the new DWH and the release process
  • Further development and maintenance of the JEE business services
  • Participation in the Scrum team with end2end responsibility for data loading processes
  • Analysis of customer requirements, with active development of architecture and solution variants in close exchange with the team and the business unit
Must Haves
  • Interest in innovative technologies and modern methods (DWH, BI, data lake, analytics)
  • Computer science education or studies with specialization in software development advantageous
  • First experience in agile development process and Java available or motivated to familiarize yourself with this area
  • Experience in data modeling (3NF, Dimensional) and ETL tools
  • Good database and SQL know-how
  • An agile mindset, high quality awareness and team player qualities complete your profile
  • Fluent German and English
