ERM is looking for a strong commercial leader to join us as a Partner to grow the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) sector in EMEA. The work location is flexible with the possibility to be based in countries where ERM has a local presence in this region.

ERM has enjoyed great success supporting global players in the TMT sector. We have been innovating our service offerings tailored for these clients in recent years and we have built strong, trust-based relationship with them. We have ambitious growth aspiration for this sector and the Partner will work closely with clients as well as Partners from all services lines and account directors/managers across the globe to ensure that we offer integrated solutions to our clients in the EMEA region.

In this client facing role, the Partner will be responsible for the commercial growth of ERM’s safety services across the EMEA region focused on Tech clients. He/she will engage clients at both operational and C level to help our clients manage and transform their corporate safety culture. The successful candidate will work with the clients, assessing their safety performance, developing and implementing change management and training programmes, management systems and compliance programmes as well as facilitating alignment around corporate EHS strategies.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level with relevant prior experience working on strategic safety transformation initiatives. He/she will have solid knowledge on safety issues in the Tech, mining, chemical/pharma, power or manufacturing sectors. The ideal candidate will be able to identify and develop business opportunity and he/she will be excellent client relationship builders. He/she will be passionate about sustainability and safety and have experience in developing world class change management programme solutions.

Role Responsibilities

Partners in ERM plays a pivotal role in achieving current success and shaping our future growth direction. The Partner will provide leadership in communicating and enabling ERM’s health and safety culture and also be accountable and responsible for the following (not limited to):
  • Develop and implement strategic business/action plans, provide leadership, and deliver performance results to expand ERM’s Safety Services team and client base.
  • Serve as a key member of the ERM team to drive double-digit profitable growth across the areas such as audit and management system programmes, safety services, and EHS training programmes
  • As a senior ‘seller/doer’, personally win project work annually. Identify and develop new opportunities, prepare effective technical proposals, and take active leadership role in developing new business with new and existing clients.
  • Develop and expand client relationships that generate repeat business.
  • Be client facing, with a proven track record of developing Key Client relationships to meet business development needs.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities and manage strategic EHS programmes for a variety of industrial clients with complex technical/regulatory issues.
  • Design and direct large programmes/projects and multi-person project teams. Achieve client’s expectations for scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
  • Develop a working understanding of ERM’s other consulting practice areas and actively support cross-selling these services to existing clients.
  • Coordinate with ERM offices in the Europe, US and Asia-Pacific regions.
