We are recruiting a Senior Proces Manager - Trend to strengthenthen travel retail supply chain growth globally.

Job Description

The Project TREND is a long-term program enhancing the TR Supply Chain into a state of the art Distribution Network, able to absorb the Travel Retail business volatility and adaptable to changing trends.

The Senior Process Manager – Trend will report to the Trend Senior Operations Excellence Lead and will be responsible to define and optimize processes and layouts for various types of projects for the Distribution Centers (e.g Greenfield / Brownfield as the optimization of existing ones) according to our roadmap (Trend Program) until 2030.

Your Main Responsibilities Include
  • Develop, integrate and implement state-of-the-art processes and layouts for new distribution centers and retrofit projects
  • Implement and enhance Lean tools and methods like Kaizen and 5S, whilst defining and developing standard operation procedures (SOP)
  • Define and refine operating concepts together with business owners
  • Plan, realize, commission and ramp-up operations of the distribution center
  • Analyze data and modeling for detailed process and layout development
  • Develop, implement and train Operational Excellence and Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Plan and develop scheduling rules for peak and non-peak scenarios (Heijunka)
  • Analyze data & cost benefit study’s, includingfull business cases
  • Support and coordinate the Blueprinting for ERP (SAP) and Warehouse Management System (WMS) integration with the logistics operations
  • Establish efficient connections to the strategic and tactical S&OP processes
  • Set specifications, tender and place orders for process related equipment, including time and budget control
  • Evaluate and compare technology oportunities to enable advanced automation and increase of throughput
  • Plan and implement the shop floor management system, including KPIs
  • Continuously identify improvement projects and act as achange agent
  • Support Industry 4.0 initiatives
Qualifications

We are looking for someone who brings:
  • Proven record of accomplishment as a Senior Process Planning & Implementation Manager by using Lean principles
  • Very strong expertise and know-how in operational excellence / lean methodologies
  • Leadership and managerial skills for the second phase of the job, which covers the operational excellence lead of standardized processes and continuous improvement across other DCs
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching and teamwork skills
  • Familiar with train the trainer concept
  • Strong conceptual & analytical skills with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Results based on leadership style skill set with strong impact and influencing skills
  • Tenacity and energy in leading change towards an effective work environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and issues – acts with agility
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
  • Smart negotiator with internal and external business partners
  • Ability to plan and organize in a structured way even under pressure and in a changing environment
  • Good Logistics Operations know how
  • SAP EWM knowledge would be an advantage
  • Very good knowledge in Microsoft Tools (Excel / PowerPoint / MS Project etc.)
