Senior Project Engineer

Location: Geneva headquarters, Switzerland

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery of end-to-end project management of medium/large capital projects
  • Coordination of weekly project team meetings
  • Managing risks by anticipating bottlenecks, managing priorities, making trade-offs, and balancing business needs versus constraints
  • Making sure there is a good flow of communication within the project team
  • Arranging FAT inspections of appropriate purchased equipment and instrumentation prior to delivery when required
  • Managing all vendors and contractors, from conceptual design to construction
  • Preparation and presentation of the project KPIs and status to steering committee
  • Organizing commissioning before final handover to the project owner
We value
  • MA degree in mechanical, chemical, industrial or process engineering
  • > 5 years’ experience in fragrance, flavors & fine chemicals industry
  • Experience in Automated Logistics technologies (with automated guide vehicles)
  • Experience with some automated unit fully integrated with ERP (slave - maître function)
  • Experience in Project Management of small to large capital projects (+2 million CHF), both in a direct implementation role as Project Engineer and as Project Manager
  • Certified in project management (PMP, Prince2) and/or continuous improvement (6Sigma LEAN certification) an asset
  • Experience in working within an international environment
  • Leadership skills with ability to build relationship
  • French and English fluent
