This Service Contract Renewal Specialist position is responsible for proactively renewing service contracts for an assigned territory to maintain and grow service contract revenue. The Service Contract Renewals Representative will need to quickly build customer rapport and leverage customer relationships and Hach value propositions, thereby moving opportunities to close. Representatives will receive support and guidance from management and other internal departments; however, it is imperative that a self-starter mentality is in place, along with the ability to manage and build their territory. This position offers a competitive salary, bonus earnings, and the opportunity to take advantage of Danaher Business Systems (DBS) trainings and certifications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for managing service contract renewals by maintaining customer touchpoints
  • Engage clients via phone and email by providing quotations, cross-selling, up-selling, and minimizing discounting where possible
  • Review commercial legal terms and escalate as needed
  • Populate and maintain the highest standards of data integrity in Salesforce.com (SFDC)
  • Collaborate with other Service Sales Representatives and Sales teams to improve processes
  • Engage in department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through visual management and countermeasures where appropriate
  • Cross-functional interfacing with other commercial departments to leverage the best resources to close business

QUALFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3 years progressive tele-sales experience selling products and services in a business-to-business environment
  • Demonstrated ability to listen to and seek out solutions to customer needs
  • Proven experience increasing revenue within existing accounts by broadening and deepening solution placement
  • Ability to handle questions relating to the service products
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Strong working knowledge of SFDC preferred
  • Good communication skills; both written and verbal
