Expectations

The Open Forest Protocol is looking for a talented product designer to create a uniform and modern design scheme for the core products launching on the protocol. Competitive applicants for this position should possess ample experience designing software based products, and iterating such products based on user-feedback.

The immediate tasks of this job pertain to revamping existing products including the project operator dashboard, validation area, open forest starter and DAO to create a uniform scheme across the product stack. Competitive candidates will possess a self-starting attitude, and capacity to learn quickly and iterate on the job. As this position is one of the first design and UX positions, it is expected that the selected candidate will grow into a team leader, capable of working with future marketing and designers hired in the future.

Role And Key Responsibilities
  • Design an original scheme for the user interface and experience of the OFP project dashboard, validation area and ecosystem explorer.
  • Coordinate and perform user research, to make sure we’re always talking to our users and listening to their feedback.
  • Synthesize and incorporate feedback from research into product and design. Turn user feedback into actionable change.
  • Gather feedback internally, from the OFP ecosystem and community, and iterate based on the needs we identify.
