In order to strengthen our team, we are looking for a new employee to join our team in our office of NIDAU (2560, BERN), immediately or by agreement date:

Requirements

• Knowledge of organic and/or biodynamic farming techniques.
• Knowledge of plant and animal waste fertilization and composting techniques.
• Knowledge and practice of the management of the main phytosanitary problems in arboriculture and/or viticulture and/or soils.
• Knowledge and practice of soil and vegetation cover management.
• Knowledge and practice of the main agricultural equipment.
• Knowledge of soil/water interaction dynamics in relation to microbial activities.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, sometimes abroad.
• Availability for an apprenticeship period with BIOMA technicians.
• Willingness to engage in constructive discussion and interaction on the innovative dynamics of crop management techniques.
• Fluent knowledge of written and spoken English
• Willingness to relocate to Switzerland if resident in another country
