ENGINEERING & TRAINING SYSTEMS ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS & UMS

Your place of work: Stans, Switzerland

What you do
  • Working as part of the PC-24 Utilities Management System (UMS) team and leading new development and modification projects for Utility Systems including but not limited to ECS, Secondary Flight Controls, Brakes, etc.
  • Design, develop and integrate new functionality and improvements to aircraft control systems in cooperation with the mechanical systems and cockpit avionics group
  • Systems engineering tasks including, but not limited to: developing requirements, problem investigation, system test/validation and certification
  • Liaison with equipment and software suppliers, as well as certification authorities
  • Support to lab, aircraft ground and flight testing
What you bring
  • University Degree or equivalent in aerospace or electrical engineering with minimum 5 years of engineering experience working on aircraft control systems, avionics, airborne electronic software or hardware development
  • Working knowledge of ARP4754 and DO-178, DO-254 and FAA/EASA certification requirements will be an advantage
  • Experience in model based system development would be advantageous
  • Highly self-motivated and hands-on person with the ability to work independently in a dynamic and multicultural environment
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken), German will be an advantage
