The Position

These are your key tasks:

  • Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines
  • Creating reports and analysis
  • Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata
  • Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with strategic decisions on new systems
  • Interpreting data, analysing results using statistical techniques
  • Generating reports from single or multiple systems
  • Training end-users on new reports and dashboards
  • Gathering and analysing information about potential threats of doping in football and supporting the development of FIFA’s testing strategy
  • Managing the Registered Testing Pool (RTP) and other testing pools (TPs)

The specific competencies we require for this position are:

  • Master or Bachelor in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Information Management or Statistics
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects, databases (SQL etc.), programming (XML, Javascript, Python)
  • Analytical skills, the ability to collect, organize, analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven track-record in managing complex projects
  • Work experience as a data analyst or in a related field
  • Ability to analyse existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations
  • Problem-solving skills, analyse intelligence data and develop strategies to address potential threats
  • Proficient in Word / PowerPoint / Excel
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Good knowledge in Python and JavaScript is an advantage
  • Fluent in English, proficiency in any other FIFA language (F / ES / GER) is an asset
