Our startup Poetic Walls revolutionizes and disrupts the real estate market and the building industry which do not meet people’s emotional, social, and spatial needs. Poetic Walls works solely with site and urban planning concepts and architectures that make places, neighborhoods, and landscapes better: more beautiful, more human, more sustainable. Poetic Walls creates awareness for the importance of great architecture for the quality of our lives. On the development side 3 studio houses in wild mountain nature by architect Valerio Olgiati are in planning stage.

Poetic Walls is the world’s first curated content and community-building online platform offering outstanding architecture in 3 business areas: 1. marketplace, 2. brokerage, 3. building (IRL/metaverse). We are a small team and are finalizing our first successful investment round. We offer you the possibility to become a co-founder.

As an architect at Poetic Walls, you have a degree from a reputable institution such as ETH or EPFL. You will play an essential role in setting the strategic direction, development and future growth of the company. You will oversee the architectural developments of Poetic Walls. In this role, you will support in shaping Poetic Walls’ architectural future.

Tasks

As our Architect, you will be part of the core team that develops and constructs Poetic Walls’ architectural message from proof of concept to proof of market. We expect a highly creative, innovative and award-winning approach.
  • Responsible for the realisation of diverse and exciting architectural projects, IRL and digital
  • Develop new projects in collaboration with renowned architects
  • Define and oversee budgets
  • Regular exchange with internal and external departments
  • Quality control
  • Coordination of the different stakeholders
  • Write about architecture

Requirements
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Architecture degree from reputable academic institution such as ETH or EPFL with at least one year of professional experience
  • Creative personality and commitment
  • Good communication skills as well as a confident and competent appearance
  • Sound knowledge of CAD and MS Office
  • Knowledge of regulations and standards in the Swiss construction industry
  • Fluency in English and German is advantageous
  • An independent creative thinker with a clear focus
  • You are a driven personality and enjoy going the extra mile
