In order to increase our capacity in account management and business development of our Perfume business in the Travel Retail based in Neuchâtel, we are recruiting a talented:

Area Sales Manager Travel Retail – Europe & Africa

Reporting to the Sales Perfumes Senior Manager for Travel Retail, you are responsible for developing the Travel Retail perfumes sales in Europe and Africa. You are fully accountable for driving the business within your zone and for ensuring the highest level of profitability as well as the luxury positioning of Bulgari Perfumes.


Accountabilities




In this role, you manage all the aspects linked to the strategic and commercial business development, including sales and marketing, pricing alignment, forecasts, budgets, yearly & long-term planning and building brand equity consistent with the DNA of the maison.

You are responsible for creating and implementing a business plan for the assigned accounts that reflects the strategy of the brand and the specific goals of the Travel Retail Europe & Africa channel.

In this role, you define priorities and allocate budget and resources in alignment with sales targets and KPIs. One of your objectives is to ensure that the distribution is compliant with the high standards of the brand, and a flawless execution in the point of sales. You are in charge of the innovation forecast and the assortment optimization based on the business unit guidelines, TR priorities and profitability.

You are fully accountable for sell in, sell out, market share and ranking results; you also manage P&L with a clear objective to improve Operating Profit and Contribution Margin.

In terms of analysis, you produce quantitative and qualitative results reports and proactively look for solutions and opportunities.

Extrovert and people-oriented, you are able to build up outstanding business relationships and strong partnership with key internal and external actors. You are the person in charge of planning and leading direct negotiations with a strong strategic view and clear short-, mid- and long-term vision.

Finally, thanks to this clear strategic vision, you lead, coach and motivate a team of Retail Managers and Beauty Consultants.

Profil

You have at least 5 years of international sales experience with a strong background within the fragrance or luxury industry, Travel Retail is a strong plus. With a Degree in Business studies, Economics or equivalent education, you have confirmed negotiation skills and a proven successful track record in business strategic planning and execution (sales, marketing, team management and market development). With good knowledge of P&L management and profit optimization, you are excellent in the utilization of IT reporting tools and perfectly fluent in French and English. Any other language is an advantage.

Flexible and mobile for 40% business travel - mainly in Europe - you have the ability to communicate, negotiate, influence and build-up trust at all levels and in a multi-cultural environment. Known as an energetic person with a positive mind-set, you are proactive and have a solution-driven attitude. Solid team player, with strong strategic and analytical skills, you are able to build and maintain constructive relationships as well as motivate people around you. Finally, you are able to work autonomously at a very high pace and to rapidly adapt to a fast changing environment.
