About Our Client

Our client is an internationally leading company in the pharma industry and a global presence. We are immediately looking for a European qualified lawyer with the relevant experience in civil and contract law, first experience in the pharma industry and ideally exposure to supporting manufacturing sites. This role will be at least 6 months.

Job Description

• Assist assigned plants with legal support for all day to day matters
• Support on setting up Procurement Processes and standard implementation
• Act as interface to the Biologics-Operational Unit
• Day to day legal counseling, drafting and negotiation for all types of Procurement contracts incl. templates
• Develop standard clauses for templates within your remit
• Work in collaboration with colleagues from Manufacturing, Procurement and the Legal Department
• On demand, coordinate and oversee cases with external law firms
• Drive relevant projects or dedicated tasks

The Successful Applicant

• Qualified lawyer in at least one European jurisdiction, with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience
• 2 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry, ideally supporting manufacturing
• Strong knowledge in civil law and contract law, additional business qualifications are a plus
• First experience with strongly regulated environments, technical agreements and/or cGMP
• Strong verbal and written communication, research, organizational as well as analytical skills in English
• Team player
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills with an ability to influence others
• Fluent (spoken and written) in English, any further European language is an asset
