Receptionist & Facilities Assistant

As a Receptionist and Facilities Assistant you will offer a wide range of services around operations and office facilities to internal and external customers. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute towards the smooth running of all Reception and Servicepoint related operations at ABB Headquarters.

Your responsibilities
  • Welcome and register clients and suppliers at Headquarters and issue visitor badges.
  • Supporting employees and visitors with required technical equipment used in conference rooms.
  • Providing assistance with room bookings and visitor announcements.
  • Ensuring kitchen facilities and conference rooms are tidy.
  • Overseeing and preparing various building facilities and related activities.
  • Ordering and preparing catering and beverage services with external suppliers.
  • Assisting and processing of courier service inquiries.
  • Various administrative tasks such as answering emails, creating purchase orders and invoice control.
  • Supporting Executive Assistants with specific tasks.
  • Being a member of the evacuation- and first aid team.
  • Several years of work experience as a Receptionist in a similar client and service-oriented function
  • Commercial degree or completed vocational training in the service/hospitality industry
  • Native language German
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Advanced MS office skills
  • High flair for technology, experience with video conferencing and technical devices in conference rooms
  • Highest levels of customer service orientation, professionalism, and reliability
  • Self-initiative and solution-driven personality
  • Reliable, team-oriented and discrete personality
  • Willingness to work in three shifts from Monday to Friday between 6.30am and 6pm, high flexibility required
  • Appreciate working in an international environment
