The Role

Bristol Myers Squibb is looking to recruit a permanent Associate Director- Quality Governance and Compliancebased in Boudry or Dublin

Scope of the Position

The Associate Director, Quality Governance and Compliance drives and enables optimized and harmonized services and capabilities across the global Supply Chain and In-Market Quality (SCIM) organization and in close cooperation with stakeholders mainly within GPS.

Key Duties And Responsibilities
  • Identify areas for improvements across processes and systems impacting global Supply Chain and In-Market Quality together with mitigation plans
  • Responsible for securing alignment and support from key stakeholders across functions and locations to support BMS vision and strategy enabling solutions
  • Lead and independently drive necessary projects and changes within the appropriate organization boundaries for improvements
  • Accountable and Responsible for the SCIMQ Quality Councils Develop, facilitate, and ensure the global quality councils meet their intended purpose and its continual improvements
  • Responsible for partnering with global quality systems and IT teams to ensure the global supply chain and in-market quality metrics are available to support the quality councils and ad-hoc management reviews of key processes and systems indicators
  • Support reviews of documents impacting GDP and quality initiatives as needed
  • Support training as needed
  • Contribute to the implementation of Quality Operations in SCIM, aligned to the Global Quality vision & mission.
  • Represents the function in process improvement initiatives
  • Influence and affect organizations by communicating events, remediations, decisions, achievements impacting SCIM Quality.
  • Contribute and promote the BMS Culture & Values.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Deputy role of Director of Systems and Compliance, when required
Qualifications, Knowledge And Skills Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sciences
  • 7 + years of demonstrated experience in Quality Assurance (operations, systems, etc.) in a pharmaceutical company or other health care related industry
  • Demonstrated experience in a Global function.
  • Knowledge and experience in pharmaceutical health care operations, quality control, regulatory affairs, quality operations, distribution and international regulations are essential.
  • Proficient in GMPs, GDPs, PIC/S and regulations promulgated by the FDA, EMA or equivalent regulatory Agencies; ISO 9001 2000 regulations; and requirements for pharmaceutical products distribution.
